Share-See ambitions are that living conditions are improved and Rights of people with disability fulfilled by the achievement of equal opportunities and full participation. In that perspective, the SHARE SEE project purpose is to help Disabled People Organizations (DPOs) to develop sustainable capacities, at the local, national and regional levels in order to be able to participate and influence social policy reforms and monitor its implementation.

Within stated program aims, Share-See runs a regional grant scheme which aims to co-finance innovative initiatives from Disabled People Organizations (DPOs) with strong emphasis on social model and cross disability approach. Over 3 year period, SHARE SEE has financed more than 110 grants ranging from 2,000 – 8,000 EUR and has reached the most remote areas and many grass root DPOs.

The Call for Proposals 6 proposes the following topics:
• Advocating for improvement of legislation that impact people with disabilities’ life especially with regards to Anti discrimination legislation,
• Advocating for access to education,
• Advocating for access to employment,
• Advocating for access to support services at community level,
• Advocating for improvement of accessibility.

The SHARE SEE program encourages initiatives with elements of cross border cooperation, gender sensitiveness and partnerships between different DPOs, other organizations, institutions and local authorities.

DPOs shall apply to this call for proposal with a CONCEPT paper outlining the type of action they are planning to implement. Application instructions can be found on the following website: www.share-see.org
SHARE SEE contribution can range from 2,000 EUR – 6,000 EUR, depending on type of action and duration of project.

The applicant should be a Disabled People Organisation (DPO)

The applicant should be from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and UN administered province of Kosovo.

The applicant organization must propose the project in partnership with at least one more DPO.

Deadline :

The deadline for receipt of applications is 23 January, 2006.

Applications received after the application deadline will not be considered.
The applicant should provide the proposal in electronic form by e-mail to the following address: cfp6@share-see.org .
